Note against item No 2, 3, 08 to 11 :- (a) The preparatory and application work pertaining to periodical services and water proofing shall be excuted from authonzed applicator duly certified by manufacturer of the Paint, Distemper, Putty etc Before execution of work necessary approval shall be taken from GE with all documentary evidences. (b) Where the items executed upto 10 mtr height, necessary scaffolding props, jacks, shuttering & ladder shall be provided by the contractor in his own arrangement and the same is included in unit rates quoted. Green cloth shall be provided all around the work site for any position/height with all safety precaution i.e. Safety Jacket, Safety Shoes, Safety Masks, Safety Helmet, Salery harness, Safety Goggles etc without safety precaution this work will not be commenced as decided by Engineer-in-Charge. NO extra cost shall be paid for such precaution shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate ( c) The contractor shall enter a 'Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) duly notarised (not later than 03 months old) with manufacturer mentioned in the particular specification. Work shall only be commenced when MoU shall be submitted by the Contractor. Validity of MOU shall be valid during the currency of the work. However during defect liability period if any defect noticed contractor shall only be responsible for rectification of the same. (d) Insurance for each worker shall be provided during currency of the work. Same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (e) Masking / covering of windows/ door during spray painting using polythene film shall be deemed to ne included in the quoted rate. (f) No payments for additional shall be paid to the contractor. (g) Cleaning and clearing site of paint, mats, etc are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (h) Completion of the work will not be issued without proper cleaning roof site as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
