(d) Top made of 18 mm thick prelaminated MDF board exterior grade ISI marked (Make Greenply/Archidply/Century/Action Tesa/Duro) duly post-formed with 0.6mm thick laminate in colour/shade as approved by Engr-in-Charge/GE with 2mm thick PVC edging fixed on two sides of Make Rehau/Pegasus/Kynex with strong bonded chemical adhesive through hot pressed machine.Rate shall be quoted by the contractor only for Repair/fixing only for this item.

Charpoy GI Pipe Drg No. FD-220 or similar pattern: S & F of the following components of charpoy GI pipe including dismantling of old unservicable one complete all as specified, directed and shown on drawings: -

(a) Long rail made of 32 mm bore GI tubing medium grade ISI marked 1.88 metre long, threaded at both ends and fixing to 3 way 32 mm size GI elbow of charpoy.

(b) Conversion of 32 mm bore long rail obtained from dismantling of item No. 19.01 above into two numbers short rail after cutting and threading both ends and fixing to 3 way 32 mm dia existing elbow.

(c) Conversion of 32 mm bore short rail obtained from dismantling of item No. 19.02 above into two number legs including fixing to 3 way 32 mm dia at one end threaded and cover the other end with hard rubber / PVC shoe.

(d) Check nuts of 32 mm dia.

(e) supply & fixing of 3 way 32 mm dia GI elbow ISI marked.

(f) 12 mm thick BWR grade ISI marked plywood of Make Archid/Century/Greenply of size 2000 mm x 900 mm including providing 50 mm wide strip made out of 6 mm thick plywood for filling gap between plywood sheet and short rails including replacement of nut-bolts as required for fixing of plywood.Rate shall be quoted by the contractor only for Repair/fixing only for this item.

(g) Mild steel flat iron of size 40x4 mm, length suitable to connect both long rails to support ply top with two Nos. Nut-bolts and double washers.

(h) Supply & Fixing of GI Clamp duly welded all four short rail for MNF set of charpoy GI pipe

(j) Supply of MNF set for charpoy GI pipe

Charpoy IP with Hard Top Drg No. FD/MAP-II/01 or similar pattern: S & F of the following components of charpoy IP with hard top (MAP) including dismantling of old unservicable one complete all as specified, directed and shown on drawings: -

(a) Leg 440 mm high, made of 32 mm X 32 mm square mild steel pipe having wall thickness of 16 gauge duly fixed with gas welding and standard workmanship.

(b) Long rail 1916 mm long, made of 65 mm X 25 mm rectangular mild steel pipe having wall thickness of 16 gauge duly fixed with gas welding and standard workmanship.

(c) Short rail 836 mm long, made of 65 mm X 25 mm rectangular mild steel pipe having wall thickness of 16 gauge duly fixed with gas welding and standard workmanship.

(d) Stiffner any type 836 mm long, made of 25 mm X 25 mm rectangular mild steel pipe having wall thickness of 16 gauge duly fixed with gas welding and standard workmanship.

(e) Mild steel clip of size 60 X 25 X 6 mm, made to shape as required, fixed duly welded to frame of charpoy.

(f) 12 mm thick BWR grade ISI marked plywood of Make Archid/Century/Greenply of size 1916 mm X 836 mm, fixed with 10 Nos nut-bolts of size as required and directed.Rate shall be quoted by the contractor only for Repair/fixing only for this item.

M & L for preparation of the following old painted steel furniture articles of any description and in any position, filling cavities with necessary putty or other fillars to achieve even and smooth suface and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint to achive surface even and smooth in glossy finish complete all as specified and as directed: - NOTES: - (i) Painting work shall be carried out all around on the complete exposed surface including internal parts like shelves, drawers, stiffners, partions etc. with spray painting process. (ii) Newly replaced parts shall be treated with one coat of red oxide primer before painting work and cost of the same deemed included in the unit rate of these items. (iii) Cost of removing of all dent and correcting of deshaped profiles shall deemed to be included in the unit rate of these items. (iv) Surface and site shall be made neat and clean by the contractor. (v) Work shall be carried out within the area of GE (East) Bareilly, Furniture yard of BSO as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Notes applicable to Sl item Nos 5.00 (a) M & L for melamine polish with spray machine after removing of existing polish of any description by scrapping and smothening of surface wherever required or as directed by Engr-in-Charge to the following furniture articles all are of MES pattern viz F/DB/FD/MAP series or similar items including applying wax for depressed surface as well as washing with caustic soda wherever required before polishing all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (b) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units at OTM/MD Accns under the jurisdiction of GE (East) Bareilly including BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
