Earthing for LT feeder pillar box complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6 mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25mtr below normal GL with the top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below the ground level connected by GI strip of size 32x6 mm thick soldered and revetted to earth plate. Supplying and laying or fixing in replacement, jointing and testing LT under ground electric power cable crossed linked polyethylene ( XLPE) insulated, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, ISI-7098 Marked, with aluminium conductor multi stranded , heavy duty 1100 Volts grade of size 240 sqmm cross sectional area, 3.5core ,complete all as specified laid in trenches/ laid under floor or fixed naked with walls / on poles/ in ducts /in GI pipes etc. with and including MS Clamps, nuts , bolts, washers complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, protection bricks/ tiles/ block and pipe shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items.

S& F Straight through joints (Heat Shrink Kits) for LT underground cable indoor/outdoor type complete for Armoured ,PVC sheathed Aluminium conductor cables Including excavating earth, identifying the fault, making proper joint of cable after rectification & returning soil back to earth, complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes:-

M&L for spreading clean dry sand cushioning to under ground cable in layers of 23 cm (8 cm deep before laying of cable and 15cm deep over the cable) after laying the cable in trenches including punning thiockness upto 18 cm complete as directed. Note :- Only punned thickness will be considered for payment.

Bricks; common burnt clay building bricks, sub-class ‘A’ designation 75 as specified and as directed

M&L for GI tubing (light grade) with all necessary fittings laid in trenches/ under road crossing/ fixed on poles, wall, under floor etc complete all as specified and directed.

GI earth will be protected by using 50mm bore GI pipe (light grade) earth plate to transformer body, LT feeder pillar box and neutral of transformer including flate iron clamp 25x3 mm with nut, bolts and washers complete with watering pipe 20mm bore GI pipe (light grade) and chamber PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm grade stone aggregate, coping shall be PCC (1:3:6) type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate pit cover 50mm thick re-inforced with 8mm for MS bar at 80mm c/c both way including excavation and earth work and removal of surplus soil complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part and as specified including earth plate packed all sides with charcoal dust, common salt and testing complete including GI sheet funnel, wire mesh etc as directed
