The required prior work experience for the bidder involves having successfully completed similar nature civil works during the last 7 years. The experience requirements are as follows: - Three similar nature successfully completed work costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to the tender, - or Two similar nature successfully completed work costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to the tender, - or One similar nature successfully completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to the tender. Additionally, the bidder should have annual turnover in Civil engineering works of not less than the estimated cost of work in any one year during the last 5 Financial years. The work experience certificate should be issued by a rank not below Executive Engineer. The experience is updated by giving 8% simple weightage per year to bring it to the Current Financial Year price level, and the turnover is also updated by giving 8% simple weightage per year to bring them to the current financial year price level.
