The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed similar work during the last 7 years. The specific requirements are as follows: - Three similar completed works costing not less than an amount equal to 40% of the estimated cost. - Two similar completed works costing not less than an amount equal to 50% of the estimated cost. - One similar completed work costing not less than an amount equal to 80% of the estimated cost. Additionally, the average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years should be at least 30% of the estimated cost. The bidder should have experience in construction of Canal Lining and other pucca works, and should have executed works in the area of Construction of Canal Lining and other pucca works in the last three years. The bidder should also have experience in construction of civil engineering works, including clearance of river/canal/drain work, and should have achieved a minimum performance in the past five years. Regarding the value and percentage of similar works completed, the bidder's Assessed Available Bid Capacity should be greater than the estimated value of the work, calculated using the formula (2*A*N-B). The value of A is updated to the current financial year price level, giving a 5% simple weightage per year. The required percentages of similar works completed are 40%, 50%, and 80% of the estimated cost, and the required average annual financial turnover is at least 30% of the estimated cost.
