The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to the "Bid Capacity" which is calculated using the formula (2AN-B). The bidder should have experience of having successfully completed similar nature of civil works during the last 7 years. The similar work experience can be demonstrated by completing: - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost, - Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost, - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. The experience will be updated by giving 8% simple weightage per year to bring them to the current financial year price level. A work experience certificate should not be issued below the rank of Executive Engineer. The bidder should have executed similar work, which includes various types of civil engineering works such as Spillways, Dams, Barrages, and others. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as mentioned above, with specific percentages of the estimated cost: 40%, 50%, and 80%. Additionally, the bidder should have the Assessed available Bid capacity as per the formula (2AN-B) which should be greater than the Estimated Value of the work. The value of A is updated by giving 8% simple weightage per year. The experience of having successfully completed similar nature of civil works during the last 7 years ending the last day of the previous month is required.
