The required prior work experience for the bidder includes the submission of Completion Certificates of similar works. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least a certain percentage of the estimated cost put to tender. Specifically, the requirements are: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender or Rs. 400 crore, whichever is less. - Alternatively, two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender or Rs. 500 crore, whichever is less. - Or, one similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender or Rs. 800 crore, whichever is less. The value of similar works completed should be calculated, including the cost of items supplied free of cost by the employer (X) and the cost of items supplied by the employer free of cost or at fixed rates (Y). The total cost of the work on completion, including the cost of supplies free of cost or at fixed rates by the employer, should be calculated as (X+Y). The average annual audited financial turnover for the last 3 years should be at least 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. The bidder should have experience of having successfully completed similar works during the last 7 years ending on the initial stipulated last date of submission of tenders.
