The required prior work experience for the bidder varies based on the bid value. For works more than 5.00 Lacs & up to 15.00 Lacs, the bidder should have at least four years of experience, with two jobs of total value equal to the bid value. For works more than 15.00 Lacs & up to 100.00 Lacs, the bidder should have at least four years of experience in the organised sector, with two jobs of total value equal to the bid value. For works more than 100.00 Lacs & up to 500.00 Lacs, the bidder should have at least four years of experience in the organised sector, with two jobs of total value 75% to the bid value. For works more than 500.00 Lacs, the bidder should have at least four years of experience in the organised sector, with one work of total value 75% to the bid value. Alternatively, for works more than 15.00 Lacs and up to 100.00 Lacs, a Graduate Engineer with 1 year of experience or a Diploma Engineer with 3 years of experience is required. For works more than 100.00 Lacs and up to 500.00 Lacs, a Graduate Engineer with 2 years of experience or a Diploma Engineer with 4 years of experience is required. For works 500.00 Lacs and above, a Graduate Engineer with 2 years of experience or a Diploma Engineer with 5 years of experience is required. A relaxation of 2 years in experience will be given to a Graduate Engineer. The bidder must have completed similar works with a value of at least 50% of the total bid value.
