East Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed or substantially completed specific categories of work(s) during the last 7 years. These categories are: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. Similar work is defined as any Civil Engineering work involving P. Way work with minimum 30% of tender quantity for Track Linking in same or another completed single work/40% of tender quantity of Track Linking work in two completed contracts, and completion of supply of track ballast/aggregate/boulders for minimum quantity of 30% of tender quantity for ballast in same or another completed single work. The bidder must also have a minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or 'V' whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. This average annual contractual turnover is calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. Additionally, the bidder is required to submit a list of works completed in the last three financial years and a list of works on hand. In case of a tie, the tender may be awarded to the tenderer having done more value of similar work in the last three previous financial years and the current financial year up to the date of opening of the tender. The specific values and percentages of similar works completed that are mentioned include: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender for three similar works, - 40% of the advertised value of the tender for two similar works, - 60% of the advertised value of the tender for one similar work, - 30% of tender quantity for Track Linking in same or another completed single work, - 40% of tender quantity of Track Linking work in two completed contracts, - 30% of tender quantity for ballast in same or another completed single work.
