The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed works during the last 7 years, with specific requirements such as: - At least three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Alternatively, two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Or, one similar completed work of aggregate cost not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender. The bidder should have experience in similar works such as Brick Work, Drain, Footpath, Interlocking Tiles, Boundary wall, Masonry work, Building Repair, and other miscellaneous works. The bidder should have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience for a Project Manager with a degree in the corresponding discipline of engineering. For works valued at more than Rs 1000 lac, the requirement is a Project Manager with 1 year of experience and a Principal Technical Representative with 10 years of experience. For works valued between Rs 500 lac to 1000 lac, the requirement is a Graduate Engineer with 2 years of experience and a Principal Technical Representative. For works valued between Rs 200 lac to 500 lac, the requirement is a Graduate Engineer with 1 year of experience and a Technical Representative. For works valued between Rs 50 lac to 200 lac, the requirement is a Graduate Engineer with 1 year of experience and a Technical Representative. The value and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as: - 40% of the estimated cost put to tender for at least three similar completed works. - 50% of the estimated cost put to tender for two similar completed works. - 80% of the estimated cost put to tender for one similar completed work. The bidder should also have a minimum annual turnover of the last three years, which should be equal to the estimated cost of the work, and a minimum net worth, which should be equal to the estimated cost of the work. The bidder should have completed at least three works of similar nature and value in the last five years. The available bid capacity for construction work should be equal to or more than the total bid value, calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the price level of the last year at the rate of 8 percent per year.
