South Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to the completion of similar works. The bidder must have successfully completed any of the following during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the tenderer must have completed: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of advertised value of each component of tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of advertised value of each component of tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of advertised value of each component of tender. The total value of similar nature of work completed during the qualifying period shall be considered, and not the payments received within the qualifying period alone. The value of work completed will not include the cost of any materials issued free of cost by the Railway/ Department concerned. Additionally, if the tenderer has offered a lower total cost as compared to the tender value by more than 10%, they shall be required to submit an additional Performance Guarantee of value equal to the percentage of the tender value by which the offer is lower than 10%.
