South Central Railway Tender

The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed certain similar works within the last 07 years. The required prior work experience includes: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the bidder must have completed or substantially completed similar works with the same percentages of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Substantially completed work means an ongoing work where payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. The bidder is required to submit a list of completed works in the last three financial years. The definition of similar work is provided as "Any Civil Engineering Works (excluding Track works / Zonal works)" with the code C-2. The tender value includes an escalation of (-)10% (minus ten percent) on CPWD DSR rates. The local content percentage should be entered by the bidder, ranging from 0 for fully imported items to 100 for fully indigenous items. The work experience certificate can be from a government organization or a public listed company with an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years.
