Design Construction of Rapid Gravity Filtration Plant including all civil, mechanical and electrical works using sand as filter media, compatible with SCADA arrangement , duly following relavant IS codes in the design of plant components including trial running for 90 days etc., complete. For 36 MLD RSF Near Karimnagar Corporation Head works . The components of the filtration plant will include the following A) Civil Works (All works of VRCC Shall be in M30 design mix) 1) Stilling Chamber including Areation cascade) Settling chamber shall be provided for 10 MLD and above capacities of WTP for a minimum of 1 hour capacity. 3)Raw water channel with Stainless Steel Weir of SS304L Grade material and also with digital flow meters 4) Flash Mixer chamber with Flash mixing arrangemenap including SS shaft & SS Blades with gear wheel arrangements etc, Using 304L Grade Steel. 5) Clariflucculator / Flocculation tanks with the components of central driven circular clarifier with scrapper & bridge arrangements made with Stainless Steel Grade 304 L tubes /angulars for durability & chemical resistant with wheel arrangements etc,. 6) Filter house, Chemical house, Alum store, Laboratory room , Chlorination plant room, toilet etc. (All structures shall be provided RCC roof only).Chemical house & Chlorinator rooms are to be isolated. 7) Wash water tank of suitable capacity shall be constructed independently 8) All the Doors and Windows shall be of Aluminium.The entrance door shall be minimum size of 2.40 X 2.40 mts. 9) All pipes and valves in Plant shall be of D.I. materials. All the Connecting pipes of the plant componenap such as from Flash mixer to Clarifloculator/Clarifier/Flocculation tank, to Filter beds, sludge disposal pipes shall be of D.I. material. The size of sludge disposal pipe shall be minimum of 450 mm dia with D.I D/F pipe. 10) The Pipe gallery way for Clear water/ Back wash water/ pipe connections shall be sufficiently spaced for easy operation,maintenance and inspection . 11) The bottom level of the wash water control chamber must be above G.L so as to dispose the wash water and sludge from Clariflocculator by gravity to disposal point. Additional specificaions 12) Railing for all the components (Clarifloculator, Filter House, Staircase etc shall be provided with Stainless Steel of grade 304 for a height of 1.00m, with 40mm dia pipe for top horizotals,25mm dia for middle row and 40mm dia verticals spaced at interval of not more than 1.00m c/c. 13) Inspection / Path ways in filter beds : Middle pathway: Minimum of 1.50m,Side pathway: Minimum of 1.20m. 14) Flooring in the buildings (Filter house, Chemical House, Chlorinator Room, Laboratory) shall be provided with Non-skid tiles of approved make & quality , as per standard specifications.Dadooing shall be provided upto 1.80mts from floor level in chemical room, Chlorination room. 15) The basement of the Filtration plant building shall be minimum of 0.75m above the existing nearby Road top level. 16) Minimum head room of 2.00m shall be provided , at the alum mixing chambers in alum store for inspection & maintenance. 17) The minimum width of entrance hall for the Filter House shall be 4.50m , and Laboratory, of min size .of 3.30 X 4.50m . 18) High efficient Air Blowers of standarded make shall be installed to the design requirement with low noise pollution , environmental pollution as per PCB guide lines & Testing of blowers as per I.S norms at site. 19) UPVC pipes shall be provided for water drain.Filter pipe manifolds shall be assembled with HDPE pipes. 20) Alum storage capacity shall be designed for minimum period of 90 days. Consumables shall be provided for 2115 Running Hours of WTP. 21A) Chlorinator : Vaccum type chlorinator shall be provided with following specifications: a) Vaccum operated solution feeding type Vaccum Regulator, Rotometer, Rate setting Valve, built-in NRV, Gas Overflow out let by manifolding to mount the system with the unit. b) The unit shall consists of Ejector with necessary accessories such as Check Valve, Drain Valve and Vacum relief Valves - for control of chlorinator dosage. c) The Accessories and manifolds shall be chlorine resistant and made of carbon steel seamless pipes, copper tube with brass fittings of suitable size & dimensions, with diaphram sealed chlorine pressure gauge arrangements. d) Water Boosted Pump of pumping capacity ranging from 2 cum/hr to 12cum/hr, with Head ranging from 16 to 35 MWC e) The water & solution carrying pipes shall be made of UPVC material of suitable size incl.all specials such as Tee's , Bends, couplings & NRVs and also Pressure Gauges of suitable range. f) Chlorine Gas detector with alarm indicator. The following are the specification for Gas Chlorination System 1) Chlorinator and Chlorine gas line : Chlorinator with flow indicator and flow control valve of Capacity : 2kg/hr containing inbuilt accessories like Filter, Rotameter with Dose rate adjuster etc, Test Pressure: 5 Bar Material of Construction (MOC ): PVC/ VITON/ HASTELLOY C4/ NICKLE PLATED BRASS , PVDF, BOROSILICATE GLASS, MONEL etc 2) Vacuum and Vent Rating Rating – 10 Bar, Dia – 8/12 mm, MOC: PE Tubing 3) Gas Filter Capacity : 10 KG/ HR , MOC (Body ) : Carbon Steel , MOC (Media ) : Glass Wool + Monel Mesh , Connection : Flanged ASA 300 4) Power water line and its accessories:- Power water line upto ejector flange with all accessories and fittings as per P & I Diagram : Booster Pumps (Centrifugal, Vertical type) , flow : 1.5 m^3 /hr , Head : 70mtr, Motor Rating 1.1 KW , 2900 RPM Isolation valve and Strainer on booster pump suction- Type : Sluice ,Connection : Threaded , Size : 1” , MOC : Brass Non Return valve & Isolation valve on booster pump discharge- Type: Wafer, Connection: Threaded , Size : 1 ‘’ , MOC : Brass P .G on pump discharge line with isolation valves : Range : 0 to 10 Bar , process connection : 0.5’’ BSP ( M) , Type : Bourden Contd.....
