Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and n.exc. 1.5 m deep for foundation of poles/stay/cable etc including getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in depth.

Removing excavated material n.exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5 m above the starting point.

M&L Sand cushioning to cable with dry fine sand in trenches 8 cm below the cable and 15 cm above the cable after laying complete all as specified. Note : Only punned thickness shall be measured.

M&L Bricks laid in trenches flat with width equal to length of brick for cable protection well burnt sub class 'B' laid across the cable complete all as specified.

Material and Labour for cutting existing BT road/PCC of size 45cm x 60cm for taking out/laying of underground cable/pipe and including necessary earth work and refilling the same in layers well ramming including watering as required and matching with the existing surface with 200mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 and curing the same with wet gunny bags and removing debris to a distance not less than 50m complete all as specified and as directed .

Material and labor for earthing complete with galvanized mild steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried vertically in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meter below normal ground level steel earth plate connected with GI wire 04 mm dia by means of lug, bolts, nuts, check nuts, washers of galvanized iron or steel GI protection pipe 15 mm bore light grade all as shown in elect plate No 3 on serial page No 497 of SSR part I - 2009 and connecting to main switch board / Main DB’s including excavation, earth work, salt and charcoal dust mixed and packed 150 mm thick around GI earth plate, GI pipe medium grade 20 mm nominal bore watering pipe GI sheet funnel wire mesh, concrete pit, RCC cover 40 mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 duly reinforced with MS Bars 6 mm dia at the rate of 75 mm centre to centre both way with 12 mm dia lifting handle and pit / chamber in PCC 1:3:6 type C1, Angle iron 40 mm x 40 mm x 3 mm frame for pit cover including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.
