The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering works, specifically executing such works in each year during the last ten financial years. The bidder should have completed similar works with a physical contract value of not less than 90% in the last ten financial years, although this requirement is waived for works costing up to Rs. 10.00 Crore. In terms of value and percentage, the bidder should have completed similar works worth not less than 90% of the physical contract value. The available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed or in progress in any one financial year during the last 10 financial years, updated to the current price level. The bidder's annual turnover based on civil engineering works executed and the balance value of works on hand should be updated by giving a weightage of 10% per year to bring them to the current price level. The bidder should furnish details of the value of civil engineering works executed in the last 10 financial years, as well as details of similar works completed, along with supporting certificates. The bidder should also provide information on existing commitments, including works on hand and yet to be completed, and works for which tenders have been submitted. The bidder is required to execute the work as per the milestone program and abide by the condition to recover liquidated damages if failed to complete the work as per the milestone program. The payment terms include 92.5% of the value of work done to be paid to the contractor, with the balance of 7.5% withheld and retained as security for the due fulfillment of the contract. An earnest money deposit of 2.5% is also retained as security.
