The bidder's prior work experience is calculated based on their available bid capacity, which is determined by the maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed or in progress in their name in any one financial year during the last ten financial years. The bidder must have completed civil engineering works worth a certain value in the last ten financial years, with the exact value not specified. However, the bidder's annual turnover based on civil engineering works executed should be updated by giving weightage of 10% per year to bring them to the current price level. The bidder should have completed similar works (not less than 90% of Physical contract value) in the last ten financial years. The bidder needs to attach certificates issued by the Executive Engineer(s) concerned and countersigned by the Superintending Engineer(s) or Equivalent Rank officer(s) showing work wise / year wise value of work done and date of completion. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed, as a PRIME CONTRACTOR or as a sub-contractor, similar works such as Earth work/ Cement Concrete/ Steel of value not less than Rs.149.65 lakhs (usually 50% of Estimate contract value of the work) in anyone financial year, during last ten financial years.
