BOQ Items
Laying of MDPE Pipeline of PE100 grade with SDR 11 having following sizes by any methodology (open cut trenching/trecnhless/manaul or mechanical boring/moling/HDD) in all kind of soil (soft/hard) with all kind of surface (normal/built-up). This rate is applicable for all kind of soil and all kind of surface including buildt-up surface. Raking up of surface for the entry and exit pit, in case of laying by moling/HDD is covered under the scope of this item. Restoration shall be paid under relevent SOR.
The following are in the scope of this item: Procurement and Installation of PE Fittings, PE Valves, Transition Fittings, Warning Mats, HDPE casing Pipes, Half concrete sleeves and other items required for execution shall also be in Contractor's scope. Preparation of detailed route plan, making trial pits to determine the underground utilities/ services etc. {Liasioning shall be carried out by the contractor to complete the project in totality, payment for same will be released as per the separate item rate mentioned in SOR.} Restoration of the abandoned excavation / trial pits (excavated to depth of 1.5 m or more as per satisfaction to Engineer- Inch reg (EIC)) to original condition, barricading the work area as per the procedures & drawings provided in the tender and as per the directions of EIC. Dewatering of trenches / pits if required as per site condition. Repairing of all damaged utilities if any, and payment of any compensation (if claimed by owner / other utility agencies). Trenching to the required depth in all type of surface (however putting up sufficient protection / casings without any additional cost at locations where proper depth cannot be attained), uncoiling / stringing of pipes, jointing of the pipe ends / fittings / valves by qualified personnel, using approved electro fusion techniques as per the specification. Separate SOR item rate is taken for Hard rock.

Survey of designated area, preparation & submission of survey drawings for laying of Low pressure network/service lines for societies / colonies/ localities shall be prepared and submitted by the contractor. However the MDPE pipe is to be laid on best probable route after discussion with EIC. All the Proposed route alignment drawings of main pipeline (125/90/63) shall be indicated by IOCL/consultant. However for 32/20mm dia pipeline, survey & route map drawings, as per site condition shall be prepared by contractor and submitted to IOCL/consultant for approval and execution shall start after due approval. Excavation, breaking through any obstructions, insertion of pipe, sealing the annulus, firm fixing of the crash guard with screwed clamp, sand filling etc. & restoration of excavated pits as defined in technical specification / instruction of EIC. If EIC permit, places where installation of crash guard is technically not possible, concrete pedestal with GI sleeves/pipes to be constructed and GI pipe to be filled with sand as per specifictaion and insruction of EIC.

Conversions of all the burners of LPG Stove (one appliance per household) to Natural Gas (NG) based appliances, Supply & changing of the nozzles / jets and associated controls for domestic & imported appliances with proper tools and tackles. The rates include testing of Kitchen piping from meter to Appliance valve and supply and fixing of one Steel reinforced Flexible Hose as per IS 9573 (with Type as per latest PNGRB guidelines) per appliance/stove with clamps. Cleaning and performing minor maintenance including gas inlet side change in stove, greasing etc. of the appliance. Testing and showing the performance to the customer, signing of joint meter records (JMR) and instructing the customer on use & safety norms, complete as per specifications & to satisfaction of owner / Engineer in Charge.
