Carrying out Horticulture works for maintenance of existing lawns of any type of grass, adjacent and surrounding public buildings in township,road side berms,open areas etc., by dressing flower beds,spreading red earth,regular watering using hosepipes,sprinkler systems,drip irrigation, removing dry leaves,sweeping lawns,hedge cutting,trimming / shaping of ornamental plants inside the lawns, pruning of tree branches less than 15 cm girth,shurbs,mending & trimming of climbers,mixing manure, mulching for plants/saplings,soil working ,application of fertilizers & manure (supplied by the department),loosening the soil 1.0 mts radius around the trees, maintenance of Royal/Fox tail palm trees inside lawn,spraying pesticides/insecticides from time to time in lawns , open areas , around public buildings, removal of grass heaps, dry leaves, cut branches/twigs, pruned / trimmed materials , debris if any and disposal to the nearest dustbin, making pits of size less than or upto 30cm for plantation works, placing of potted plants at various venues in township during events, Guest House etc., using appropriate tools complete all as directed by the EIC. Quote includes un-skilled labour charges(minimum wages) for carrying out the above activity in all respects using necessary tools on all working days and any such other days as directed. Engaging one person per day shall be measured and paid as EACH Job. Consumables such as tools, tackles,manure,fertilizers,insecticides,red earth, safety gadgets etc., will be supplied by the department to contractor for using in above work. It is contractors duty to ensure that the labour engaged shall wear safety gadgets at work spot. Note: 1.For carrying out the above works, minimum number of 38 un-skilled labour to be deployed at various locations in township as per requirement as directed by EIC. 2.Rate quoted for this item shall not be less than the prevalent min.wage for un-skilled labour as notified under 'Special notes' below.Any revision in minimum wage above/below the prevalent rate shall be notified by HAL from time to time and shall be reimbursed/deducted appropriately based on prooof of submission of actuals paid.

Service Charges for carrying out the job & supervision as described at item no.1 above , including contractor's overhead ,profit.

Maintenance & Development of Potted plants/saplings of different varieties, watering using hose pipes, sweeping, de-weeding, manuring, re-potting as and when required, mulching, application of fertilizers, spraying pesticides, developing of new saplings in pots,re- painting of pots with Terracota paint, potted plants,cleaning/ replacing the existing/ new green shade net and refixing from time to time(green net supplied departmentally), removal of damaged flower pots, replacing the flowerpots in Guesthouse and other VIP areas/during visits with fresh flower pots, development of flower beds, lawns, hedges, plantation pits using necessary trolleys/tools etc.,. All the above work shall be carried out by engaging Two (02) trained (semi-skilled) mali with experience in maintenance of nurseries on every working day of HAL.The quoted rate shall include charges for mali,contractor's profit and other service charges and overheads etc.,The required consumables including pots and green net (except tools & trolleys) shall be supplied by the department.The premises used for development of saplings/plants etc., shall always be maintained in neat and clean conditions and shall be free from water logging. The safe custody of all the flower pots,saplings,trolleys and other necessary tools and tackles shall be the responsibility of the Contractor and the same shall be handed over to the department in good condition at the end of contract period.
