The required prior work experience for the bidder is to have executed similar nature of work, other than Area Development Scheme, of work costing more than 50% of the Value of work put to tender, in a single contract in the last 5 years period. The value of the work put to tender is approximately Rs. 4.98 Crores, so the bidder should have experience of completing a similar work with a value of at least 50% of Rs. 4.98 Crores, which is Rs. 2.49 Crores. The bidder should have completed similar works such as multistoreyed construction, building works, drains, culverts, retaining walls, bridges, road work, water supply mains, and other similar civil works. A certificate from the concerned department, not below the rank of Superintending Engineer/Executive Engineer, should be furnished to confirm this experience. Additionally, the bidder is required to provide the number of years of experience as a General Contractor and as a Sub Contractor. The bidder should also provide details of works carried out, including professional experience. For contracts of different values, the following technical assistants are required: - Up to Rs.1 lakh, no technical assistants are required, - From Rs.1 lakh to Rs.3 lakhs, one diploma holder in civil engineering or not less than one retired junior engineer is required, - From Rs.3 lakhs to Rs.10 lakhs, one B.E. (Civil) or equivalent degree holder or not less than one retired sub-divisional officer is required, - From Rs.10 lakhs to Rs.25 lakhs, one B.E. (Civil) or equivalent degree holder with three years of experience or not less than one retired sub-divisional officer plus one diploma holder in civil engineering is required, - From Rs.25 lakhs to Rs.50 lakhs, one B.E. (Civil) or equivalent degree holder with three years of experience or not less than one retired sub-divisional officer plus two diploma holders in civil or two retired junior engineers is required, - Above Rs.50 lakhs, the requirements will be examined individually based on the nature of work and technical skill involved. The bidder should have experience/expertise in the field and should provide information on the balance work on hand being executed in private/public undertakings and government departments as on date, and details of current and incomplete contracts running under pre-qualification bid. The required prior work experience is to have completed works of similar nature under a single contract with a value of more than 50% of the work put to tender, which is Rs. 2.49 Crores, within the last five years.
