Providing micro concrete to the distresed spalled concrete surface as per the following specification. (i) Applying one coat of Nitro primer or equivalent after thorough cleaning the rust in reinforcement, including cost af all materials, labour, lead, lift etc., complete. (ii) Providing fabricating and erecting slurry tight form work with country wood shutters with suitable supports which do not 9 deform or leak due to pressure of micro concrete etc., including cost of all materials, lead, lift, etc., complete. (iii) Providing micro concrete using Rendroc RG/equivalent and mixed with 8mm chips equal to the weight of micro concrete as per manufactures specification. The micro concrete should be placed continuously for an average thickness of 75mm including cost of all materials labour, lead, lift, etc., complete. (iv)"Applying one coat of polymer modified acrylic emulsion (Nitobond AR/equivalent) on the finished surface accuring membrane including cost of all mateials, T&P, labour, lead, lift, etc., complete. Removal of ballast from the edge of PSC sleeper up to side walls to full depth up to top 5 of deck slab under traffic condition duly supporting the PSC sleepers wherever required with wooden blocks, without affecting the safe running of trains and screening and stacking the same as per the instructions of Engineer-in-charge.

Supply, Providing and fixing GRP Walk way Refugee Platform on the out side of Ballast retainer slab of existing Bridges including Supply and fixing of GRP platform (1000mm width) structure connecting trolley refugees, with mounting brackets to Bridge proper at 1500 mm c/c distance (or) as per approved drawing using SS 316 anchor fasteners as per drawing duly drilling the bridge structure in the sides, without affecting its design considerations, and through weep holes and additional holes by removing/scooping the ballast under traffic conditions during day or night as per the availability of traffic block and providing steel bolts of approved size as per drawing through the weep holes and additional holes provided in the bridge with stainless steel plates on both sides of the holes and fixing the GRP Hand rails of 1m height with the mounting brackets provided, Laying the GRP walk way over the frame in the specific arrangements provided and fixing the same to the frame with suitable locking arrangements/ brackets, etc. Complete as directed by the Engineer in charge of the work. The rate quoted is including all costs for lighting, scaffolding, temporary platform arrangements for the safety of workers/supervisors, cost of drilling, cost of SS bolts & nuts of approved diameter, length, etc. and cleaning, laying net covering the span in work to act as a catch 4 for accidently falling labor, hire charges for power supply arrangements required for the site, leading of materials from factory to site of work and leading the same to work spot etc. complete the work. The material supply should confirm the specification mentioned in the Railway's approved Drawing and other GADs and also technical specification mentioned in ANNEXURE-I. The work to be executed as per the Railway approved Drawing of the particular bridge. Special conditions: 1) The GAD, detailed structural drawings with design calculations and specifications for anchors, support brackets, GRP Platform, Hand railing, etc shall be submitted by the firm and shall be got approved by CBE's office before execution of the work for a particular bridge.2) A model platform with two brackets in the middle of the span shall be erected and load tested and certified in all aspects by the Engineer-in- charge before carrying out the work.3) The PSC Structure shall not be disturbed during execution and this shall be ensured in the design and working methodology.4) The working platform arrangements shall not infringe SOD and the same shall be got approved by the Engineer-in-charge.5) The strength and stability of the existing RCC/PSC ballast retainer available in the bridge is to be checked and certified by the Engineer-in-charge before carrying out the work. If required, appropriate strengthening works to the existing RCC Ballast retainer is to be done, before carrying out the provision of GRP Keyman's pathway work.
