The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The overall cost, including the PVC amount (if paid), of that completed work or substantially completed work, shall be considered, and no separate evaluation for each component of that work shall be made to decide eligibility. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The work experience certificate can be issued by a Govt. Department/Organisation or a Public listed company having an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years. Each non-lead member of the JV, who are not satisfying the technical eligibility for the work, shall have technical capacity of minimum 1/3 of the cost of work. For works with composite components, the technical eligibility for the major component of work shall be satisfied by either the JV in its own name & style or the Lead member of the JV, and technical eligibility for other components of work shall be satisfied by either the JV in its own name & style or any member of the JV. Each other (non-lead) member of the JV, who are not satisfying the technical eligibility for any component of the work, shall have technical capacity of minimum 1/3 of the cost of any component of work mentioned in the technical eligibility criteria. The values and percentages mentioned are: - 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender for three similar works - 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender for two similar works - 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender for one similar work - 35% of the value of the work to be subletted for subletting of work - Rs 500 crore as the average annual turnover for a public listed company - Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work where no previous work experience is required - 1/3 of the cost of work for non-lead members of the JV.
