Trucking out Railway's steel crib from the railway depot (with an average distance of 1 100 Km) to the proposed bridge site in contractor's road lorry including loading, unloading, stacking and leading back the steel cribs to the nearest depot after completion of the work as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Casting of precast post tension PSC Girder 7.62m span bridge at the site without obstructing the waterways as per Drg No:CN 221-96 sheet nos 1-3 and as per specification of prestressed concrete work laid down in IRS Concrete Bridge Code as directed by Engineer-incharge of the work over suitable steel cribs staging as required for casting and stressing, including providing suitable PCC/ Concrete slabs for the staging if required and lifting arrangements as per approved drawing with all labour, tools and plant, machineries,PCC/concrete slabs, steel crib staging arrangements, materials such as shuttering, wooden planks, wooden cut blocks ,cement and steel reinforcement steel, sheathing for cable duct, binding wire,stressing equipment,stressing jacks stressing crew,HTS wires,bearing cones, wedges &other incidental materials and items including 2 provision and arrangements for surface vibrators , shutter vibrators and needle vibrators etc complete. (All labour, tools and plant, shuttering, supporting materials, cement, reinforcement steel , HTS wire, stressing jacks, stressing equipments etc to be supplied by Contractor/Tenderer only at his own risk and cost) Note: This item includes casting of base slabs/ concrete bases over which steel cribs staging to be erected for suitable height for casting of PSC slabs. Steel cribs rental charges to be borne by contractor as per existing railway rates. steel cribs to be properly secured after completion of the work. Note: each unit denotes "Each span" Note for bearings:1.The Finished top level should be uniform throughout Gap if any, noticed between bearing & pedestal after lowering or when first train passing on the bridge after line block, the same has to be attended properly as detailed in the schedule again. 2. Matrix of any thickness should not be provided exclusively below the elastomeric bearings. 3. For levelling the bottom surface of the girders if required shall be done with hand grinding machines

Erection of PSC girders under line block/power block by slewing out the existing girders & slewing in the new girders. This work includes levelling the bed to the required area, providing wooden matting, erecting steel crib staging to the required height, wooden layers over the steel crib staging on one side of the bridge for placing the exg.girder, using the staging provided for 3 casting of PSC girders on other side of bridge, providing suitable roller arrangements, pulling the girders by using pullers & pushing the girders by using jacks similarly pulling the PSC girders by pullers & pushing the same by using jacks, keeping the existing PSC girder on staging (specifically erected for this purpose and paid seperately) and slewing and keeping the PSC girders in position on the elastomeric bearings, with all lead, lift, tools & plants, jacks of suitable capacity, rollers, consumables, skilled labourers etc complete and as directed by the Engineer-incharge. Note:- 1. One span consists of slewing out one exg PSC girder and slewing in one new PSC girder. 2. The weight involved in one span is approximately 160 tonnes (80 tonnes for exg.Girder and 80 tonnes for new PSC GIrder)
