The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing certain categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. The categories are: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh. The values and percentages mentioned are: - 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender for three similar works, - 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender for two similar works, - 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender for one similar work, - 35% of the value of the work to be subletted for subletting of work, and - Rs 50 lakh as the threshold for requiring no previous work experience for subletting of work. Additionally, for tenders having advertised value more than Rs 20 crore, the tenderer will be qualified only if its available bid capacity is equal to or more than the total bid value of the present tender.
