The required prior work experience for the bidder is to have completed road construction works of similar nature, with a value of at least 50% of the value of the work put to tender in a single contract within the last three years period. The bidder needs to provide certificates from the competent authority for the works completed as prime contractor on road construction works of similar nature. The value of similar works completed should be at least 50% of the value of the work put to tender, and the bidder should have completed works costing more than Rs. Lakhs under a single agreement in the preceding three years. The bidder should provide details of similar road works completed, including the name and designation of the employer/owner, value of work as per agreement, stipulated period of contract, date of commencement and completion of work, and reasons for delay in completion, if any. The actual value of work executed as per the final payment and the quality of work done should also be mentioned. The percentage of similar works completed is at least 50% of the value of the work put to tender.
