The bidder is required to have prior work experience in completing bridge construction works of similar nature, with at least one "bridge" work of similar nature completed satisfactorily under a single agreement in any one of the preceding three years. The value of similar bridge works should be at least 50% of the value put to tender, which is Rs. 4,29,50,000/-. This value is also mentioned as more than Rs. 429.02 lakhs under a single agreement completed in the preceding three years within Tamilnadu state. The bidder should have been in the Civil Engineering Construction field for at least the past five years. The annual minimum financial turnover of the Applicant in any one of the preceding three years should be more than 50% of the estimated value, and the minimum cumulative financial turnover of 150% of the estimated value of works for which bid has been invited from the civil engineering constructions in the last three years.
