Alternatively, the bidder should have completed works as a prime contractor on Bridge construction works of similar nature costing at least 50% of the value of the work put to tender, which is Rs. 13,65,00,000, in a single contract within the last three years period. The bidder should have been in the Civil Engineering Construction field for at least the past Five years. They should have completed satisfactorily at least one “bridge” work of similar nature with a value not less than 50% of the value put to tender under a “single agreement” in any one of the preceding ‘three” years in Government or Quasi Government Organization only. The specific value mentioned is 136.50 (in lakhs), which is 50% of the estimated value. Additionally, the annual minimum financial turnover of the Applicant in any one of the preceding “Three” years should be more than 50% of the estimated value, and the minimum cumulative financial turnover in the last “Three” years should be 150% of the estimated value, which is 409.50 (in lakhs). For works valued between Rs.10.00 Lakhs to Rs.25.00 Lakhs, the bidder should employ one B.E., (Civil) or equivalent Degree holder with three years experience in Civil Engineering works. Alternatively, the bidder can employ not less than one Retired Sub-Divisional Officers plus one Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering or Two Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering with three and five years experience respectively. For works valued between Rs.25.00 Lakhs to Rs.50.00 Lakhs, the bidder should employ one B.E., (Civil) or equivalent Degree holder with three years experience or not less than one Retired Sub-Divisional Officer (Assistant Executive Engineer, Or Assistant Divisional Engineer) Plus two Diploma Holders in Civil Engineering or two Retired Junior Engineers. Alternatively, the bidder can employ one B.E., (Civil) or equivalent degree holder with three years experience or not less than one Retired Sub Divisional Officer (AEE or ADE) plus one more BE (Civil) or equivalent Degree Holder. The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - At least one bridgework of similar nature with a value of not less than Rs.1,36,50,000 - 50% of the value of the work put to tender, which is Rs. 13,65,00,000 - Five years in the Civil Engineering Construction field - Three years experience for a B.E., (Civil) or equivalent Degree holder - Three and five years experience for Diploma Holders in Civil Engineering.
