The required prior work experience for the bidder includes executing building works or related works costing at or more than 50% of the proposed contract value in a single contract or in two contracts. The experience should be supported by performance certificates issued by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent rank. The bidder should have executed building/related works within the agreement period or extension of time granted. The experience certificate should have details of Name of Work, Name of contractor, Date of Commencement of Work, Due date of Completion, Actual date of completion, Actual completion cost, fine imposed if any and reason for delayed completion of work with extension of time details. The date of completion of the works stated in the experience certificate should be within the past 5 years prior to the date of tender. Credentials of the tenderer(s) for the works executed by him / them within the past 5 years supported by certificates issued by the authority not lower than the rank of Executive Engineer. The required prior work experience is related to the value of work executed in the previous year, which should be equivalent to the value of the current work. If this condition is met, full marks (20 marks) shall be awarded. Proportionate reduction will be made if the value of work executed in the previous year is less than the value of the current work. For contracts between Rs.10 Lakhs to Rs.25 Lakhs, one B.E., (Civil) or equivalent degree holder with three years experience in Civil Engineering works is required. For contracts between Rs.25 Lakhs to Rs.50 Lakhs, one B.E., (Civil) or equivalent degree holder with three years experience is required. The value of private work experience should be tallied with Form 16A and Form 26AS. The working capital available should be at least 5% of the balance work on hand of all the works under execution, including GST, by the contractor, plus the put-to-tender value of this work, including GST. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned, but the bidder should have experience in works related to the tender. The bidder should have executed building/related works costing at or more than 50% of the proposed contract value. The amount of Rs.10 Lakhs to Rs.25 Lakhs and Rs.25 Lakhs to Rs.50 Lakhs are mentioned for contracts, and 5% of the balance work on hand is required for working capital. 20 marks will be awarded if the value of work executed in the previous year is equivalent to the value of the current work.
