The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience as a prime contractor or sub-contractor in similar works, such as highways and airfields. The bidder should have experience in using heavy earthmoving equipment and quality control equipment for road work and bridge work. They should also have experience in mechanized granular pavement construction, construction of Asphaltic Overlays, and construction of Bridge Works, including Bridge Works in Open Foundations. The bidder should have successfully completed at least one contract of similar nature (Highways road and/or Bridge works/Airport contract) with a value of at least 40% of the proposed contract in any one year within the last five years.
