The bidder should have prior work experience in the Civil Engineering construction field for at least 5 years. They should have satisfactorily completed BT or BT and CC Road Work(s) of not less than 50% of the value put to tender under a single agreement in any one of the preceding three years for a Government Department/ Board/ Government Undertaking. Additionally, the bidder should have an annual minimum financial turnover of not less than 100% of the Estimate Amount in a financial year in the preceding three years. The bidder should also have working capital sufficient to finance at least 15% of the Estimate Amount. For key personnel, a B.E Civil (or) equivalent Degree holder with 5 years of experience is required, or not less than two retired Sub Divisional Officer (Assistant Municipal Engineer or Assistant Divisional Engineer). Alternatively, a Diploma holder in Civil Engineering with 2 years of experience is acceptable, or Four Retired Junior Engineers. The value and percentage of similar works completed is 50% of the value put to tender, and the annual minimum financial turnover is 100% of the Estimate Amount. The working capital required is at least 15% of the Estimate Amount.
