The bid capacity required in the given tender is as follows: - The Applicant Should have an average annual minimum financial turnover of not less than 50% of the value put to tender in a financial year in the preceding “Three” years. - Working capital should be sufficient to finance at least 15% of the value put to tender. Working capital will be calculated by adding the amount available in the bank account of the applicant on the date of submission of application and the unutilized amount of overdraft / credit facility extended to the applicant by the Nationalized / Scheduled banks. Formula for working capital: Working capital = Amount available in bank account + Unutilized amount of overdraft/credit facility. Additionally, the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is required to be furnished by the bidder, which is 1% (rounded off to the next ten rupees) of the contract value of the work put to tender. The EMD should be in the form of a Banker's cheque or Demand Draft. Formula for EMD: EMD = 1% of contract value (rounded off to the next ten rupees)
