Note: a) Only punned thickness of river sand shall be measured. b) Riddled earth, duly fullfilling the technical paramteres and confirming to IS 1255, shall be used after obtaining the approval of AGE (I).

Supply and laying in trench/ drawn in GI tubing, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, heavy duty electric power cables with stranded aluminium conductor of cross sectional area 50 sqmm 3.5 core, 1100 volts grade, complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Earthwork, excavation, RFR and removal of surplus soil, river sand cushioning and PCC cover slab/ bricks for cable protection shall be measured and paid seperately)

Cutting the existing road/hardstanding (size 40 cm width and 50 cm depth) for passing pipes/ cable in trenches and making good the disturbed surface by using PCC (1:4:8) type D1 using 20mm graded aggregate at the top for a depth of 15 cm and remaining depth to be filled with excavated soil and painting with black paint, if necessary, to match with existing road, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Rates for soil filling shall be measured under relevant items of returning and filling.

All the above to be complied & certification confirming the same needs to be produced to AGE (I) , complete all as specified and directed. Supply and erection of 4 Meter Octagonal poles which shall be designed as per ILE TR7 & BS5649 for structural design & as per IS875 (Part III), 1987 for dynamic loading, Pole shaft shall be made single piece MS structure continuously tapered having polygonal (8/12 sides) cross section and a single longitudinal welding, welding shall be done as per BS 5135 / IS 9595, No circumferential welding shall be allowed in the pole shaft, MS shall conform to BSEN 100025/100027 and structure shall be single hot dip galvanized as per BS 729 / IS 2629, including applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of primer, a suitably designed door shall be provided at approximate 700mm height from the pole base, the wiring to luminaire shall be connected through 0.5 Amps MCB, the door opening will be suitably reinforced for structural strength. The door shall be flushed with pole external surface and shall provide easy access for electrical connections at a maintainable and suitable height.

A Suitable base flange will be welded and plate reinforcements should be provided between base flange & pole, Foundation accessories will be as per IS 1367, the top dia and bottom dia of the pole shall be 70 & 130 mm respectively with a sheet thickness not less than 3mm. The base plate dimension shall be L x W x T (220 x 220 x 12 mm) and each pole shall be supplied along with 4 nos. of foundation bolts of length 450 mm with 20mm dia, the pole shall be erected using suitable PCC foundation for individual pole complete all as specified and directed. Note : PCC foundation and earthing shall be measured and paid seperately.
