Notes for Item Nos 1 to 7 :-1) Design / drawing / BOM of LT Panel Shall be submitted by the contractor from OEM/ Auth Supplier & is to be got approved from the GE & Engr in charge before placing final order to the manufacturer . 2) Any item not included in the specification but technically requried for proper operation / functioning of LT panels is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground ( erath pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level) with the top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level,connected to galvanized iron earth strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts, and washers of galvanized iron or steel all shown in electrical plate No 3 connected to earthing test point on completeion with and including 40 mm bore medium grade GI protection pipe ( up to 7.5 mtrs long) for earth and 20 mm GI medium grade for watering including PCC Chamber pit & cover with suitable lifiting hooks , with funnel, wire mesh, common salt, charcoal filling, necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil including testing on completion all as specified and directed .

Note :-1) On completion of the complete work/job the Contr is to perform earth resistance tests for each earthing job in the presence of the Engr-In-Charge or his rep & submit test certificates duly signed & certified. If the test results are not satisfactory or not within the permissible limits of relevant Standards/IS then the job is to be redone without any extra cost to the Dept till the results are satisfactory.

Supply, laying, jointing & testing XLPE insulated screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 120 sq mm 3.5 core in trenches / through GI pipe / fixed along with pole structure etc with all fixing & connecting accessories complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing & testing XLPE insulated screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 95 sq mm 3.5 core in trenches / through GI pipe / fixed along with pole structure etc with all fixing & connecting accessories complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing & testing XLPE insulated screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 25 sq mm 4.0 core in trenches / through GI pipe / fixed along with pole structure etc with all fixing & connecting accessories complete all as specified & as directed.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for taking out/laying of UG Cables, GI Pipe etc. and getting out in hard dense soil complete all as specified and directed .

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick with excavated soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated material (Soil) to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point all as speciofied and directed.

M&L for providing sand cushioning for protection of UG cable in trenches with coarse Riddled Earth of approved quality as approved in writing by GE including filling, spreading and punning down to desired thickness complete and all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and laying sub class "B" bricks in trenches for protection of UG Cable with width equal to length of bricks, laid dry & flat complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for cutting the existing hardstanding/PCC/WBM road at a depth of not less than 60 cm & 30 cm in width for passing of HT cables through GI pipes, returning filling in, complete incl finishing the surfaces by providing cement concrete type B1 (1:2:4) with 20 mm graded aggregate upto 20 cm, finishing to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and as directed.

NOTE for Item Nos 15 & 20 : Any damages made to the existing services of MES/WCB/TNEB/Other Depts like HT/LT UG cables, Water Supply/Sewage Pipe lines, OFC/BSNL/ITRC/Signal communication cables etc. during the excavation/boring/road cuting etc. progress of the work shall be made good with proper jointing kits etc. as per original to the entire satisfaction of Engr-In-Charge & GE & the cost of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. Decision of the AO shall be final & binding.

M&L for GI pipe light grade with all running fittings (ISI Marked), laid in trenches, under road or fixing on wall/pole/crossing drain/nallah etc. of bore 100 mm complete all as specified and directed. Note : Wherever GI Protection pipes are to be placed/fitted above earths surface, cost of necessary clamping/fixing arrangements to the entire satisfaction of Engr-In-Charge is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.

M&L for GI pipe light grade with all running fittings (ISI Marked), laid in trenches, under road or fixing on wall/pole/crossing drain/nallah etc. of bore 80 mm complete all as specified and directed.

IMPORTANT NOTES : (i) Design/drawing/BOM of the AMF panel & DG SET showing the dimensions is to be obtained from DG SET/Panel board manufacturer/Auth supplier & is to be got approved from Engr-in-charge & GE before placing final order to the manufacturer. (ii) The electrical connection of digital Multi Functional Meter in the AMF panel is to be done from load side so that monitoring of various parameters viz. Voltage, Current, KW, KVA, power factor, frequency etc. can be done for both SEB mains & DG mains. (iii) The cost of periodical/routine servicing including minor repairs/replacement such as topping up of coolant, engine/lube oil, diesel as well as lube-oil filters including periodical checking of the complete DG set & AMF panel for the complete defect liability period from the authorized Service Dealer as & when required/due is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. (iv) The complete installation, commissioning & testing of the DG Set & AMF Panel is to be got done from the OEM or their auth Rep/Sister Concern/Channel Partners only. (v) Anything missed out in the technical specifications but technically required for efficient working of the DG Set & AMF Panel is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (vi) Necessary PCC foundation/plinth shall be as per the recommendations of OEM & cost of the same is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (vii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be include test run at site as specified in the PS in presence of rep of Accepting Officer, all testing arrangements / equipments, resistive load including FOL shall be made available by the contractor with out any extra cost (viii) The distance between the DG Set & the AMF Panel is 20 Mtrs Approx& the cost of control cabling etc. from DG Set to the AMF Panel is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. (ix) The DG Set & AMF Panel shall be completely suitable for switching ON the DG Set whenever EB Supply goes OFF & transfer the load to DG & vice-versa in the event of resumption of EB Supply.

Disconnecting and taking out the existing DG set from its position and deposting it to MES AGE E/M store yard all as directed .Note :- The rate quoted by contractor is deemed to be included (a) T&P for shifiting to store yard (b) Making good the distrubed surface.
