Filling Riddling Sand obtained from excavation for cable protection, 8cm under the cable and 15cm above the cable in trench and get the thick layer of 18cm after ramming. Note :- In case sufficient sand is not obtained from excavation, the required additional qty shall be obtained from out side MD land as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for this provision.

M&L for laying common burnt bricks, sub class 'B', of size 230 x 115 x 75 mm in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- While laying, the length of the brick shall be at right angle to the central axis of cable.
