Note for item No.2 (Contd...) (ii) The unit rate quoted by the tenderer is inclusive of employing sufficient number of persons/ T&P for attending day to day maintenance of sewage lines and accordingly the unit rates shall be arrived at, No extra cost whatsoever shall be admissable on this account. However it is expected to employ minimum two persons per each area on daily basis irrespective of complaints. For every group of areas a register shall be maintained to show the date and time of complaint and date and time of rectification duly signed by a rep of users of the unit concerned and countersigned by JE/AGE. Failure to rectify any blockage/complaint in 24 hours time will attract a penalty of Rs 500/- per complaint and shall be revocred from the payment due to the contractor.

Comprehensive maintenance of sewage system consisting of sewage lines, manholes of various sizes and depth, floor including cleaning/clearing blockage/logging in sewage lines, traps of WC's, Floor traps, Nanhi traps, Gully traps, Bends (with or without door), T junctions (with or without door), Y junctions (with or without door) etc., in any position and making the sewer system (sewage and sullage) fully functional by suitable modern cleaning techniques etc., complete at various size in buildings located at Zone 'B' area buildings SAF Games village (Koyembedu), Emerald Flats (Thirumangalam), CGRA Ayyapakkam, Mogappair & HIG Flats (Nandanam) Chennai. Note:- (i) This job shall be carried out in a day to day requirement basis as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Cleaning of septic tank by mechanical means and cleaning of Area drain using suitable modern cleaning techniques including washing with water and applying disinfectant and the external surface shall be treated with two coats of white wash two coats of white wash including removing cover slabs and refixing in same position etc., of various capacity of septic tanks/width and depth of drain complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Lifting, removal/disposal of sludge/excreta/ sullage/ sewage / waste water in closed tanker to outside MD land shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Contractor shall remove invariably the sludge and solid materials from septic tank by mechanical means only and the unit rate shall be deemed to include the cost of this provision. (iii) No man power shall be allowed to get into the septic tank and covered drain for removing sludge. (iv) Measurement shall be taken only for the volume of sludge after bailing out water.

Demolition and breaking 150 mm dia., drain pipes (Salt glazed ware, AC or reinforced concrete set in cement mortar, separation of serviceable materials from the unserviceable, stacking the serviceable materials within 100 M and disposal of unserviceable materials, debris and rubbish to a distance not exceeding 100 M complete as directed by the Engineer in Charge. Note: Excavation earthwotk, Returning filling in and removal of soil if required shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for Salt glazed stoneware (SGSW) grade 'A' drain pipes 150mm bore laid in trenches and jointed in cement mortar 1:1 on concrete bed including concrete bed to drain pipes of bore 150 mm in PCC 1:3:6 type C2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for laying of under ground cables, pipes/pipe lines, etc. and the like not exc. 10 Sqm on plan and not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in any type soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing Excavated soil to a distance execeeding 500m but not exceeding 1.5 KM and depositing where directed at a level not exe 1.50 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for PCC, 1:3:6, type C2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested for pipes of 200 mm bore complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Brick work with fly ash bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius with old size bricks built in CM 1: 6 including demolition of old brick work complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour rendering 15mm thick Cement Mortar 1:3, mixed with Water Proofing Compound on walls as well as on sunken floor portion and finished the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only integral water proofing compound of approved quality.

Material and labour for Rendering 10 mm thick on any faces of brick wall or stone masnory in Cement mortar 1:4 and finished the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of rain water pipe and sewage line pipe of any type and any size including fitting complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and Fix 110mm bore UPVC (SWR) pipe of pressure not less than 4 Kg/Sqcm in single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, laid in trenches or in floors complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and Fix 75mm bore UPVC (SWR) pipe of pressure not less than 4 Kg/Sqcm in single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, laid in trenches or in floors complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and Fix UPVC (SWR) bends any radius, 110mm bore, fitted with oval access door

Supply and Fix bend suitable for 110mm dia PVC (SWR) pipe complete all as specified and as directed

Supply and Fix 75mm bore, UPVC (SWR) bends any radius fitted with oval access door complete all as specified.

Supply and Fix UPVC (SWR) reducers any radius 110mm bore complete all as specified and as directed .

Material and labour for Plain /Reinforced Cement Concrete in 1:2:4 mix, type B1, using 20 mm graded granite stone aggregate as in cast in situ in lintels up to 1.5 M sqan, cills and other similar bands, plinth courses, parapets, copings, bed plates, man holes and the like including necessary formworks complete all as specified and as dircted.

Material and labour for Mild steel TMT bars in reinforcement, 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips quality conforming to Fe-500D all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing precast cement concrete, 1:2:4, type B1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in landings, bed plates, pintle blocks, anchorage blocks, cover slabs (for manholes etc.) shelves and similar articles with plain faces and set in cement mortar 1:6 including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Reinforcement bars shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and fixed in repairs PTMT Grating doom 125 mm dia with waste hole of having minimum weight 40gms complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixed for 75mm dia PVC (SWR) floor trap, plain with grating including jointing with solvent cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixed PVC (SWR) gully trap 125/110 mm, setting and jointing with solvent cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs Waste fittings, 32mm bore, brass, chromium plated for glazed ware sink or basin with long screwed shanks and fly nuts, flange end bedded in red lead cement and other end fixed with 32mm bore PVC low density polyethylene waste pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for lifting of night soil, any sludge/ excreta/ sullage/ sewage with waste water from septic tank, soak well & manholes (or from any other location as per direction of Engr-in-charge) using suitable pump attached with vehicle having tank of 10,000 litres capacity in closed tanker and disposing the same at designated places as earmarked by the local bodies or disposing the same under own arrangement of contractor to outside MD land complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (a) The above Rate is inclusive of one Driver with two man power with and including pumping arrangement attached to vehicle of Ten Thousand ltr capacity. (b) The above Rate is also inclusive of sucking pipe (Upto 50m length) from place of lifting of night soil with water to pump attached with vehicle. (c) In case vehicle is not arranged as per direction of E-I-C, recovery at double the market rate or double the CA rate whichever is higher will be made.
