(b) Protection system (i) Self powered over load current & earth fault protection relay (3 O/C + 1 E/ F) with data communication mode as per standards. Short Circuit and earth fault indicator complete all as per standard norms. (ii) Master trip relay protection.
(iii) RMUs should have extensive interlocking to prevent safety during wrong operation.
(iv) RMU should have Protection against moistures. (c) Metering system ;- (i) Ammeter and voltmeter with selector switches, frequency meter, three phase presence indicator, breaker 'ON' and 'OFF' indication lamp (complete metering unit for all incomer and outgoing side).

Note :- (i) Unit rate shall included the cost of danger notice board, foundation as required as per OEM recommendation/ all connection complete shall be included in the rate quoted. (ii) The RMU have Indoor type & factory made Testing & setting of relays of HT panels. VCBs/ RMU shall be done by original Equipment Manufactured (OEM) and inspection by the representative of the accepting officer shall be carried out in the premises of the manufacturer’s factory premises before dispatch. Contractor shall be responsible for intimation to the accepting officer and GE well in advance so that representative of the accepting officer can be detailed timely. All the arrangements & expenses for visit the factory inspection & tests shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost. Factory Inspection sheet also submitted by the contractor before dispatch the material.
