Military Engineer Services Tender

All as per item No.03 here-in-before but not exc 10cm width or girth.

Material and labour for one coat of retro reflective painting to runway, taxi way, centre line, apron markings etc., either continuous or broken lines to the required width and length over the existing painting surface /new surface on bituminous surface with solvent based road marking paint (Retro reflective paint) Brand: Road King or equivalent brand approved by MORTH, IRTC and AAI including supply of paint material at the rate of 0.5 litre per sqm and glass beads at the rate of 0.35 Kg per Sqm (Reflective index 1.5) with self propelled airless spray painting equipment including, remove dust particles by using compressed air blow or vaccum clean to ensure free from contaminants, flying debris, laitance, loosely adhering concrete, preparation of surface upto the requirements at site complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Retro reflective paint shall be applied as per manufacturers instructions along with MORTH technology and specially using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for preparing of old black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with using air blower to remove all loose dirt etc complete and apply cold Polymer Modified Emulsion (PME) mopping of total cold liquid PME 1.00 Ltr per Sqm (undiluted) for two coats as recommended by manufacturer of PME (after diluting with water), each coat diluted in the ratio 1:1 (PME : Water) and ensure uniform finish of runway complete all as per manufacurer's instructions ,and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. The tender shall take into consideration the following point while quoting his rate for this item :- (a) The work shall be carried out through authorised and qualified applicator of the manufacturer only. (b) A performance guarantee certificate for two year shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of the works as specified. Note for Serial item No. 1 to 06: Kind attention of tenders is invited to that runway will be available to execute the work on Saturday and Sunday or on holiday or as required by the user. The tenderer has to work as per user's requirement and unit rate quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to include for this provision/condition.
