Notes:- (i) Comprehensive maintenance consists of preventive and breakdown services including replacment of minor consumables like topping of gear oils/ grease/ door rollers/ relays/ door belts/ gate lock contacts and any hardware like bolts and nuts including load testing of lift for satisfactory performance once in a year complete and rate quoted by the tenderer is deemed to be included.
(ii) Preventive maintaince consists of carrying out routine check by skilled personnel as specified in Particular specifications and as recommended by Engineer-in-Charge and lubricating to all moving parts, topping up of oils as per Lubrication chart. (iii) Breakdown maintenance consists of attending to the faults that may occur and carrying out necessary repairs to electrical and control circuits and mechanical components of the lift that may occur during the operation. (iv) Fortnightly, quarterly maintaince registeres shall be maintained and signed by site Engineer and contractor.
(v) Load testing shall be arranged by the contractor to the Lift for whose repairs were carried out as and when directed by Engr-in-charge.
(vi) One qualified diploma Engineer shall be employed whenever required along with one helper having sound knowledge and well experience in maintenance of lift. All the staff employed for maintenance will be reported to AGE E/M office dailly and will give day to day progress duly entered in the registers.
(vii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be included the above aspects and for consumebles such as timely topping up/ replacement of gear oils, acrylic covers, fuses, copper cables, hardware like bolts, nuts, emery papers, grease, waste cotton, stationary and other miscellaneous items etc.,
