The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of advertised value of each component of tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of advertised value of each component of tender, (iii) One similar work each costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of each component of tender. For subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years, except for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, where no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The percentages and values mentioned are: - 30% of advertised value for three similar works - 40% of advertised value for two similar works - 60% of advertised value for one similar work - 35% of the value of the work to be subletted for subcontractors - Rs 50 lakh as the threshold for subletting work where no previous experience is required.
