The bid capacity required in the given tender is mentioned in terms of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) and Security Deposit. The EMD is fixed at 1% of the contract value of work put to tender (including the GST Amount). The Security Deposit is 2% of the value of contract including GST amount. Additional Security Deposit (if quoted amount is less than 5 to 15% of estimated value) = 2% of Estimated Value Additionally, the bid capacity can also be determined by the monetary limits specified for different classes of contractors, and the requirements for technical personnel based on contract value. For Class- I contractors, the monetary limit is Rs.50.00 Lakhs to Rs.200.00 Lakhs. For Class- III contractors, the monetary limit is Rs.200.00 Lakhs to Rs.500.00 Lakhs. The requirements for technical personnel are as follows: - For contracts above Rs.10.00 lakhs and up to Rs.25.00 lakhs, one B.E., (Civil) with 3 years experience plus one Diploma holder in Civil Engineering is required. - For contracts above Rs.25.00 lakhs and up to Rs.50.00 lakhs, one B.E., (Civil) with 3 years experience plus two Diploma holders in Civil Engineering is required. - For contracts above Rs.50.00 lakhs, technical personnel with up to three years of experience are required, depending on the nature of work and technical skill involved.
