The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed at least one contract (Highways road and/or Bridge works / Airport contract) at a value of at least 40% of the proposed contract value, which is Rs.129.68 Lakhs, within the last five years. The bidder should have achieved an average annual turnover of at least 40% of the contract value applied for, over the last five years, which is also Rs.129.68 Lakhs. This implies that the applicant should have had an average annual turnover of at least 40% of Rs.129.68 Lakhs, which is Rs.51.87 Lakhs per year, over the last five years. The bidder should demonstrate experience in similar nature of work, including minimum quantities of works completed in any one year during the last five years, such as: - GSB: 335.30 Cubic Metre - WMM: 993.10 Cubic Metre - BM/DBM: 349.60 Cubic Metre - BC: 161.90 Cubic Metre - STEEL: 1.648 Metric Tonne - PCC/VCC: 16.90 Cubic Metre - VRCC: 22.30 Cubic Metre The value of similar works completed should be at least 40% of the proposed contract value in any one year within the last five years, which is 40% of Rs.324.20 Lakhs. The bid capacity to execute the work should be greater than Rs.324.20 Lakhs. The bidder should have been in the Civil Engineering Construction Business, including road and bridge works, and should be registered under Class I with a money limit of Rs. 75.00 Lakhs and above in the Highways Department in the Government of Tamil Nadu. The bidder should also have access to liquid assets (working capital, cash in hand) and/or credit facilities of at least Rs.32.42 Lakhs.
