The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The similar nature of work includes indoor or outdoor Electrical Signalling work for provision of RRI/PI/EI/MACLS/Track Circuit/Axle Counter/BPAC/Double Distance/L.C. Gate Interlocking/IBH/Automatic Signalling work/Hot standby with provision of dual VDU. Additionally, the bidder should have completed similar works, specifically indoor or outdoor Electrical Signalling work, with a value of at least 35% of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of subcontractor is required. The value of the final bill, including the Price Variation Clause (PVC) amount, shall be considered as the completion cost of work. In case of substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount, shall be considered as the cost of substantially completed work, provided that payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor.
