The bidder is required to have prior work experience of having satisfactorily completed BT or BT and CC Road Work(s) of not less than 50% of the value put to tender under a “single agreement” in any one of the preceding three years for a Government Department/ Board/ Government Undertaking. They should also have prior work experience in the Civil Engineering construction field for at least the past five years. The required prior work experience for the bidder is 5 years for a B.E Civil (or) equivalent Degree holder, and 2 years of experience for Diploma holders in Civil Engineering. Alternatively, not less than two retired Sub Divisional Officers (Assistant Executive Engineer or Assistant Divisional Engineer) or four retired Junior Engineers are also eligible. The bidder should have an annual minimum financial turnover of not less than 50% of the value put to tender in a financial year in the preceding three years. The value and percentage of similar works completed is not less than 50% of the value put to tender. No specific amount is mentioned.
