The required prior work experience for the bidder is at least 5 years in the Civil Engineering construction field. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed work(s) of not less than 50% of the value put to tender under a single agreement in any one of the preceding three years for a Government Department/Board/Government Undertaking. The value and percentage of similar works completed is mentioned as 50% of the value put to tender. However, the exact amount is not specified. Additionally, the bidder should have an annual minimum financial turnover of not less than 50% of the value put to tender in a financial year in the preceding three years. The bidder should also have working capital sufficient to finance at least 15% of the value put to tender. For key personnel, a B.E Civil (or) equivalent Degree holder with 5 years of experience (or) not less than two retired Sub Divisional Officer (Assistant Executive Engineer or Assistant Divisional Engineer) is required. A Diploma holder in Civil Engineering with 2 years of experience (or) Four Retired Junior Engineers is also acceptable. The Price Adjustment Clause is applicable for tenders of value of Rs.1 cr and above. The Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is 1% (rounded off to the next ten rupees) of the contract value of the work put to tender.
