The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed works of a similar nature during the last seven years. The experience requirements are as follows: - Three similar completed works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Two similar completed works each costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of the estimated cost put to tender. - One similar completed work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the estimated cost under a single contract. The similar works should have been executed in India only, and works executed on a back-to-back basis are considered eligible. The value of completed works shall be brought to current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of 7% per annum, calculated from the date of completion to the previous day of the last date of submission of tender. “Similar work” shall mean that “Any type of Building Construction / Building Refurbishment works / Civil Maintenance Works”. The bidder should provide details of all works of similar class completed in all respects during the last seven years, including the name of the work/project, location, owner/sponsoring organization, cost of work, dates of commencement and completion, and any pending litigation/arbitration cases.
