The Bid capacity required in the given tender to bid is calculated using the formula: Assessed Available Bid capacity = (A x N x 1.5 - B) Where A = Maximum annual turnover in any one year during the last five years (updated to 2023-24 price level). N = Number of years prescribed for completion of works for which bids are invited, which is 1 year in this case. B = Value, at price 2023-24 level, of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the period of completion of the works for which bids are invited. The condition for bid capacity is: Bid capacity > Value of the work. Additionally, the bid capacity requirements include: - Similar work experience: 40% (for three works), 50% (for two works), or 80% (for one work) of the estimated cost. - Average Annual financial turnover: at least 50% of the estimated cost, calculated as Average Annual financial turnover ≥ 0.5 * Estimated Cost. - Working capital: at least 30% of the value put to tender, calculated as Liquid assets and/or credit facilities ≥ 0.3 * Tender Value of Work. The estimated cost can be inferred from similar completed works, which is Rs. 204.00 Lakhs (2 works x minimum value of Rs. 102.20 Lakhs, excluding GST) or Rs. 326.00 Lakhs (1 work x minimum value of Rs. 163.52 Lakhs x 2, excluding GST) or other conditions.
