(DAT.14) A) Operation and maintenance of 7 Nos - 500 LPH RO plants installed at various locations in BAP factory premises by deputing one qualified and RO plants experienced operator including replacing the spares in the plants as and when required. Spares for replacing shall be supplied by the bidder and only the cost of spares will be paid under sub items of item no: 02 at actuals. SCOPE OF WORK: 1) Operation of the RO plants by employing qualified operator on all working days of the year. 2) Cleaning the units of the plants regularly, backwashing and dosing of anti scalant chemical time to time (as per manufacturer's reccommendations and instructions of Engineer in charge). Periodical cleaning of the raw water tanks and treated water collection tanks. 3) Regular maintenance of pumps such as oiling, greasing, motor shaft, pipes, minor rectification and replacement of minor parts such as nuts & bolts etc., minor parts of pumps, electrical wiring etc. Supply & replacement of damaged UPVC pipes & specials interconnecting the plant units of small quantities including consumables such as solvant cement, teflon tape etc. The scope also includes breakdown maintenance whenever necessary. 4) Replacement of spares listed under sub items of item no: 02 if necessary. The replacement and refixing of defective spare parts is part of operation and maintenance contract. 5) Maintaining daily log sheets for the operation of RO plants all as per instruction of Engineer in charge. -- Continuation of Item no:01A -- B) Annual maintenance of domestic RO systems installed at various locations in BAP factory & Township premises by deputing qualified, domestic RO systems experienced persons by servicing & replacing the damaged / worn out spares in the systems as and when required. Rate includes labour charges for replacing of spares, Tools & tackles and all other incidental charges etc., complete but excluding the cost of spares. Cost towards such spares acutally replaced will be billed under sub items of item no: 02. All as per manufacturer recommendation and instructions of engineer-in-charge. SCOPE OF WORK: 1) Service to be done in every two months per unit / whenever service requirement needed. 2) Replacement of spares listed under sub items of item no: 02 if necessary. The replacement and refixing of defective spare parts is part of operation and maintenance contract. NOTE: 1) Only Semi-skilled workers should have to be employed for the above works and wages shall be paid as per minimum wages as stated in the tender documents. 2) If the 500 LPH RO plants are not operated for more than 24 hours due to breakdown on any unforeseen account other than non-power supply & non-water supply from BHEL, recovery will be made as per approved and awarded rate in this item from the the date of stoppage to the date of putting back in to operation effectively.

(DAT.15) Supply of required spares at site of work in BHEL-BAP-Ranipet. Rate quoted shall include loading, transportation, unloading at site of work, all taxes, duties (Excluding GST) and any other incidental charges etc., complete for 500 LPH RO plants and domestic RO plants. The replacement and refixing is part of maintenance contract (item no. 01A & 01B respectively for 500LPH & Domestic RO plants) and no separate payment will be paid. only the cost of spare parts found defective and actually replaced will be paid.
