Fillet welding of stainless steel pipes & pipe fittings (Flanges, pressure testing etc.) by GTAW process using full high purity Argon gas (99.995% min) for shielding, Liquid Penetrant Examination for root & final weld and local passivation of the weld joints as per approved procedure and technical specifications.

Pressure Testing of SS304L pipe EPs as per approved procedure. Pipe size is ranging from 8 NB to 100 NB and the pipes are embedded in the RCC wall and the pipes are in different configuration like “S” shaped, straight curved etc.,

Taking delivery from stores, Handling, Transportation, surface cleaning with acid as per the approved procedures and installation of equipment/assemblies on the structural supports and welding of equipment's lugs/legs/Skirt /saddles etc. with structural supports as per approved procedures & drawings. Typical process equipment are Stainless steel process tanks, scrubbers, Pumps, Chiller, Heater etc. Scope of this work also includes supply of SS shims, SS Bolts & Nuts, Check nuts and washers, tightening of SS 304 L bolts / studs, washers, nuts and screws and seal welding of Nuts for equipment alignment. Preparation of drawings, handling of equipment using hoists / chain pulley blocks and skid-roller before final alignment, etc. are also in the scope of this work. The payment will be made only after the final alignment, welding and approval of as built drawings.

Procurement, supply, concrete drilling, fixing, erection and installation of Stainless Steel Anchor Bolts of HILTI make or equivalent in the sizes of M12 x 100 mm GI Anchor Fasteners of HSL-3G as per ASTM F1554 Gr 55 along with nuts and washers with relevant material test certificates, preparation of MIC, handling, transportation, marking the location of anchors on RCC walls / floor / roof, drilling holes using hammer type / core-cutting type drilling machines, cleaning of holes and installation of Anchors for fixing carbon steel plates at required locations as per the manufacturer’s specifications.

Supply, site measurement, fabrication, inspection and installation of SS304L pipe supports in the form of angles and channels as per the approved drawings.The angles and channels of the SS304L shall be as per ASTM A276 or equivalent standards. The rates quoted shall include mechanical & chemical cleaning, preparation of MIC, safe handling, storage, preparation of fabrication drawings, fabrication of structures / pipe supports /equipment supports / platforms / ladders as per approved drawings by GTAW using SS308L/SS309L filler wire, flush grinding of welds, weld inspection by LPT and Erection of structures, maintenance of cleanliness of these items, during all stages of storage, erection and till the system is completely handed over to the engineer.

Fabrication of stainless steel 304L pipe 1000 mm radius bends up to 25NB size using hydraulic bending machine or any other means as per approved procedures. The bending procedure shall be duly approved by the department in advance. The rate shall include liquid penetrant examination of bend surfaces of 100 % of pipe bends, thickness measurement at bend portion using ultrasonic thickness measurement gauge, ovality measurement and local passivation as per specification.

Erection of SS304L Piping of sizes from 8NB to 150NB issued as Free Issue Material or procured and supplied by bidder. The job involves study of piping GA drawing, identification of source and destination, taking site measurements, incorporating the required changes in GA drawings, preparation & approval of pipe spool (isometric) drawings, identification of all materials, taking delivery of the same from departmental stores, complete handling, transportation, detergent washing, acid cleaning & passivation, rinsing, marking, cutting of pipes and existing blinds of pipe EPs, edge preparation, fit-up, tack welding, alignment, complete erection etc and readying the same for GTAW welding as per approved spool drawings and specification.

Radiographic examination (100% joints) of pipes joints as per approved procedure and technical specification. This includes supply of required quality & sizes of radiography films, identification of joints as per the weld joint list, taking of gamma exposure, development of the exposed films and its internal review. (Note: The weld joints found acceptable after radiography test shall only be considered for the payment purpose).

Fabrication of stainless steel pipe 5D bends upto 40NB size using hydraulic bending machine or any other means as per approved drawing. Bending procedure shall be duly approved by department in advance. The rate shall include liquid penetrant examination of bend surfaces of 100 % of pipe bends, thickness measurement at bend portion using ultrasonic thickness measurement gauge and local passivation as per specification. The rate for each bend formed upto pipe size 25NB will be considered as an inch bend irrespective of the pipe size.

Supply of SS304L plates, Surface treatment, Site Measurement, Preparation & submission of Drawings, Obtaining approval of the drawings, Fabrication C channels or rectangular/square box sections by rolling or bending as per the approved procedures/specification, fabrication of box sections by joining the C channels with full butt welding( if C channels are made), Inspections like visuals, DPT etc. and erection of the SS304L structural support members into the EPs by deploying GTAW and closing the CS EPs using SS304L material in thickness 3 mm supplied by user as FIM. This also covers shearing, cutting, fixing, welding, tacking, dimensional checking etc of all such supports to the existing carbon steel wall EPs or other structural members including RCC walls of underground vaults.The work includes mechanical & chemical cleaning, preparation of MIC, safe handling, storage, preparation of fabrication drawings, fabrication of structures as per approved drawings by GTAW using SS308L/SS309L filler wire, flush grinding of welds, weld inspection by LPT and Erection of structures, maintenance of cleanliness of these items, during all stages of storage, erection and till the system is completely handed over to the engineer.
