The required prior work experience for the bidder involves satisfactorily completing similar works within the last seven years. The bidder can qualify by completing at least one similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work. Alternatively, they can have completed two similar works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works not less than 40% of the estimated cost of works. The cost of similar work is adjusted to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of 7% per annum. The similarity of work is based on physical size, complexity, methods/technology, and scope of works, specifically involving protection works. For Joint Ventures, experience credentials shall be considered for all members with a minimum 35% participation share. Startups registered for similar nature of work are exempted from meeting the qualification criteria in respect of Prior Experience-Prior Turnover, subject to meeting quality and technical specifications. The bidder needs to provide details of their past work experience, including the name of the project, name and address of the project developer, description of work, contract number, value of work, dates of award and completion, and remarks. They must also submit copies of work experience certificates from the appropriate authority of the project developer.
