The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily completed at least one similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the estimated cost of work in the last seven years. Alternatively, the bidder can have completed two similar works costing not less than the amount equal to 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the estimated cost of works. The cost of similar work is calculated by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of seven percent per annum from the date of completion to the date of bid opening. The bidder is required to provide details of work experience in Form-3, including name of project, name and address of project developer, description of work and contract number, value of work, and dates of award, start, and completion of work, along with copies of work experience certificates from the appropriate authority of the project developer. Startups registered for similar nature of work are exempted from meeting the qualification criteria in respect of Prior Experience-Prior Turnover.
