Silicon Poly Crystalline SPV cells shall be used in the Solar Photo voltaic module. each bi facial panel peak power shall not be less than 550 Watt SPV modules should be essentially indigenously manufactured(manufactured in India).The make of SPV shall be Vikram Solar/Indo Solar/Warree/Tata Solar/Adani The module efficiency shall be more than 16% at standard test condition and the cell should have minimum fill factor of 0.7 with anti reflective coating. It shall be made of high transmittivity glass & front surface shall give high encapsulation gain. Note: Anti dust coating on PV modules shall be done at site in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge.

All materials used shall have a proven history of reliability and stable operation in external applications.It shall perform satisfactorily in relative humidity upto100% with ambient temperatures between -4°C and +60°C and shall withstand gust upto 200km/h on the surface of the panel. Each and every SPV module shall be checked for conformity with relevant standard and no negative tolerance shall be accepted. SPV Module shall be manufactured in India irrespective of any other provisions in this tender. Module shall be made up of poly crystalline silicon cells. The interconnected cells shall be laminated in vacuum to withstand adverse environmental conditions. The module frame will be made of corrosion resistant materials having aluminium anodized finish.

Lightening protection:- There shall be the required number of suitable Early Streamer Emission (ESE) lightning arrestors installed (As per Design to be submitted by sucessfull bidder). The air terminal is Early Streamer Emission(E.S.E.) type which shall be fixed at the top of a stainless steel pole with base be atleast 4 meters above the structure to be protected.Its height above roof level would be dependent on the level of protection and the protection radii required. The air terminal should be working on the principle of early streamer emission using non-radio active technology,needing no external power source. The air terminal should be capable of tracking the lightning stroke 60 micro seconds earlier as compare to passive lightning rod. The air terminal is of stainless steel and it has qualified diameter to resist high values of lightning currents .Roof connection pipe should be capable of withstand in lightning strikes having dimension 60mm OD and thickness of 5 mm.

Earthing Protection :- M&L for Bore earthig 150 mm dia buried by vertical boring machine, depth 50 mtr below ground level using earth electrode 50mm dia GI pipe medium grade duly drilled hole of 12mm dia, 115mm C/C on both side of the pipe including lowering in bore well upto the depth of 49 mtr and one mtr above the ground level. The pipe electrode should be filled around commericial salt charcoal dust, copper suphate and magnesium phosphate of 30 cm layer each upto the full length of pipe. The borewell should have 12 mtr of length 150mm dia MS pipe for protection of borewell. Welding of GI Strip 50mmx6mm on earth electrode GI Pipe 50mm dia upto 10mtr below ground level and 15 mtr from the bore well to test point gun metal and PCC foundation surrounding the borewell 60cmx60cmx30cm all as directed by Engr-in-charge. GI strip more than 25mtr will be measured and paid separately. Cost of gun metal test point deemed to be included in the quoted rate. Note:- The earthing shall be done independently / separately as per MNRE / IS for structure , inverter, lightening arrestor etc.
